How does the 30-day free trial work?
When you start a Simply Gourmet membership, the first 30 days are free. We do collect a card on file, but it is not charged until day 31. Cancel any time before then and you owe nothing.
Can I cancel my membership any time?
Yes. You can cancel from your account page in two clicks. Cancelations take effect at the end of your current billing cycle, and you keep full access until then.
How much does Simply Gourmet cost after the trial?
Monthly memberships are $8.99/month. Annual memberships are $89.99/year, which works out to about two free months compared to paying monthly.
How many recipes are in the library?
Today there are 95 tested recipes across 10 cuisines. We add new recipes on a regular cadence, and we do not retire old recipes -- they only get updates and improvements.
Are some recipes free without a membership?
46 of our 95 recipes are free to read at any time, with no account required. The remaining 49 are members-only.
What does "tested twice" mean?
Every recipe is cooked at least twice in our test kitchen by two different cooks. We finalize a recipe only when both cooks can produce the dish to spec, and the photograph is from one of those test cooks.
Are nutrition facts included?
We are working on adding nutrition information to every recipe. For now, recipes that include it are tagged. Use any nutrition information for general guidance only -- it is not medical advice.
Can I share recipes with friends?
Yes. You are welcome to share a link to any free recipe with anyone. Members may also send a temporary unlock link of any premium recipe to a friend or family member from the recipe page.
How does the kitchen store work?
Our kitchen store features a small, opinionated set of cookware, cutlery, and small appliances we actually cook with. Free shipping over $75.00. Returns within 30 days for an unconditional refund.
Where do you ship?
We currently ship to all 50 US states and to Canada. International shipping is rolling out market by market. If you would like us to ship to your country, email us and we will move you up the list.
How do I get a refund on a membership or order?
Email member support at info@simplygourmetlakeplacid.com within 30 days of your charge. We process refunds promptly with no extra questions. See our refund policy for full details.
Do you have a mobile app?
Not yet. The website is designed to work beautifully on phones, tablets, and laptops. A native iOS and Android app is on our roadmap.
How do I change my password?
From your account page, choose "Change password". For lost passwords, use the forgot-password link on the sign-in page.
Do you sell or share my data?
No. We never sell your personal data. We use a small set of essential cookies to keep you signed in, plus optional analytics cookies you can opt out of. See our privacy policy for the full picture.
