Simply Gourmet was started in 2024 by four cooks who had grown tired of food sites with empty filler, popups, and recipes nobody had actually tested. We wanted a place where every recipe is cooked twice, photographed honestly, and written by someone who knows why a step matters.
Today we have 95 recipes covering ten cuisines, an opinionated kitchen store, and a small team that answers your emails. We will never run autoplay videos, and we will never recommend a tool we wouldn't put on our own counter.

Lila spent a decade running test kitchens in New York and London. She started Simply Gourmet because she wanted a recipe site she could trust on a Tuesday night. Her favorite cuisine is whichever one she is cooking right now.
